Forecast Pro Unlimited is a versatile forecasting solution designed for larger-scale forecasting jobs, collaborative forecasting, working with complex hierarchies, maintaining multiple forecast overrides, documenting your forecasting sessions and integrating with other systems.

With Forecast Pro Unlimited, forecasting thousands of SKUs is as easy as selecting a data file and clicking the forecast icon. With a few additional clicks of the mouse, you can graph the results, view forecast reports, make judgmental overrides and save the results.

Create accurate forecasts automatically

Forecast Pro Unlimited’s Expert Selection mode analyzes each item and selects the appropriate forecasting method automatically. If you prefer to specify the forecasting approach, Forecast Pro Unlimited provides a comp lete range of forecasting methods and all the diagnostic tools you need.

Add yout judgment and collaborate with others

Incorporating business knowledge is often essential to establish the final forecast. Forecast Pro Unlimiteds override facility allows you to adjust the statistical forecasts in a spreadsheet-like display which shows both the historical data and forecasted values. You can adjust single points, ranges or totals, using percentages, increments or by simply entering new values. If youve defined a multiple-level hierarchy, adjusting a value at any given level will automatically adjust all appropriate levels.

Working with colleagues can also improve the forecasting process. Using up to ten customizable override rows and handy comment fields, you can easily collaborate with your colleagues and document your changes to foster a truly collaborative forecasting process.

Integrate smoothly with other systems

Integrating Forecast Pro Unlimited with your existing software systems is very straightforward. You can import data in a variety of flexible, easy-to-create formats including Excel spreadsheets, text files and ODBC. You can also customize the content and format of the output. Offered at a fraction of the cost of Forecast Pro Unlimited Forecaster licenses, Collaborator licenses allows others to view your forecasts—including graphs and reports—add overrides and comments, and save the results.

New features in 7.2

The latest release of Forecast Pro Unlimited is packed with new features and improvements for added power and flexibility including: two new methods designed specifically for forecasting new products—forecast by analogy and the Bass diffusion model; report filtering; and item reports. Forecast Pro Unlimited Version 7 also offers the option for a native 64-bit installation.

Forecast Pro Unlimited version 7.0 is a significant revision of Forecast Pro Unlimited Version 6. It is fully backwards compatible and can read your Forecast Pro Unlimited Version 6 data files and projects without modification.

Forecasting by Analogy

Forecasting by Analogy allows you to create a forecast that “looks like” a different products demand pattern or a “launch profile” which you create. The method is most often used for new product forecasting where little or no demand history is available.

You can either specify the expected total sales of the new product over a specified horizon or it can be estimated from the data.

The Bass Diffusion Model

The Bass diffusion model is a well known new product forecasting technique. The Bass model forecasts the spread of a new technology, product or method based on the adoption rates of two types of users - innovators who are driven by their desire to try new products and imitators who are primarily influenced by the behaviour of their peers.

The Bass model can be used with or without historic demand data. You can either specify the model coefficients or they can be estimated from the data.

Report Filtering

Forecast Pro Unlimited now has custom filtering functionality for all reports. The filtering operates in a similar fashion to the filtering found in Excel, and allows you to sort and/or filter by column. Filtered and sorted columns are marked to let you know where filters are in place. You can turn filtering on or off using the new Filter icon on the toolbar.

Item Report

A new Item Report view is now available providing you with a global fully customizable grid display of any information available on the individual formatted forecast reports. This extremely useful allows you to define the specific information you want to view and/or save out to Excel. Because the report can also be sorted, filtered and used to Navigate, the Item report can serve as a convenient way to define and review subsets of your items.

Miscellaneous

Safety Stock lead times can now be set to decimal values. For example, when forecasting monthly data a value of "1.5" would specify a lead time of 1 ½ months.
Two new statistics have been added —the sMAPE and the MAD/Mean ratio. These statistics are both alternatives to the standard MAPE statistic that are designed to reduce scale sensitivity. They can be included in both the within - sample and out-of-sample statistics displays.
Minor improvements have been made to the expert selection logic.
The documentation and help system have been revised and improved.
Numerous small changes have been made throughout the program to make it easier to use and more intuitive.
