A first announcement regarding the 13th OxMetrics User Conference: Dates and venue have been confirmed and the conference will take place at the Center for Research in Econometric Analysis of Time Series, CREATES, a research unit at Aarhus University, Denmark on 5-6 September 2013. Overview
Timberlake Consultants, publisher and official distributor of OxMetrics, is pleased to invite you to the 12th OxMetrics User Conference, to be held at Cass Business School, London, UK on 3 and 4 September 2012.
The OxMetrics User Conference provides a forum for the presentation and exchange of research results and practical experiences within the fields of computational and financial econometrics, empirical economics, time-series and cross-section econometrics and applied mathematics. The conference programme will feature keynote presentations, contributed paper sessions, poster sessions, and a panel discussion with the OxMetrics developers. OxMetrics developers: Jurgen A. Doornik, David F Hendry, Siem Jan Koopman and Sébastien Laurent, will present as keynote speakers. Timo Teräsvirta leads the Ana Timberlake Memorial Lecture, as well as key contributions from numerous other leading academics and professionals including Prof. Andrew Harvey and Dr. Melvyn Weeks. The conference is open to all those interested and not just to OxMetrics users from academic and non-academic organisations.

About OxMetrics Software

OxMetrics is a modular software system that provides an integrated solution for the econometric analysis of time series, forecasting, and financial econometric modeling, and for the statistical analysis of cross-section and panel data. The OxMetrics modules are PcGive, STAMP, SsfPack, G@RCH and TSP/OxMetrics. OxMetrics is available within a user-friendly GUI interface and has extensive graphical reporting. In addition, OxMetrics provides a powerful object-oriented programming language (Ox Professional) that allows users to directly implement the latest theoretical developments and/or integrated packages. Conference fees and accommodation
The logistics of the conference is organised by Timberlake Consultants, the publishers of OxMetrics software. There will be a small conference fee to cover costs for coffee, teas, luncheons and conference dinner on the 3 September 2012. Concessions are made for early registration, students and paper presenters:
Early Registrations (registration and payment received by 30 July 2012 - £84.00 (inc. VAT).
Late Registrations (registration and payment received after 30 July 2012 - £102.00 (inc. VAT).
Paper Presenters - The conference fee is waived for presenters (only one fee waiver per presentation, regardless of the number of authors).
Students and Poster Presenters - £45.00 (inc. VAT). Does not include attendance at the conference dinner, however a £36.00 (inc. VAT) suppliment will be applied.
If you need assistance in locating hotel accommodation in the region, please notify us at at the time of booking.
